Eat It, World. Japan Gets Special FFXIV Heavensward PS4s, Vita TVs, and Vita

"Aw man, I wish the console would stay its usual boring self, but they'd swap in a special picture on the face plate and give me a special background picture and stuff," you've probably all said about your PS4. Well guess what, shit head? The Japanese Sony Store is about to blow your mind.



This seems a little odd, considering that those Vita and PlayStation TV systems you saw in that gallery, despite their markings, can't actually play Final Fnatasy XIV natively. Yet there they are, getting special edition treatment. A subtle reminder that remote play exists, since nobody in Japan can fucking use it? Maybe.

In other news, my Donkey Kong Country Vita should arrive in the mail any day now!
