A new Star Wars game was announced today, an iOS/Android RPG from mobile game developer Kabam. The reveal trailer for Star Wars: Uprising can be viewed above.
The trailer doesn't show any gameplay, but a screenshot on the official website seems to suggest it's a top-down RPG much like a Diablo or Torchlight. In addition, players will be able to create their own special characters as they earn new skills and find equipment.
The game also promises cooperative multiplayer and "large-scale sector-wide battles that dictate the future of the game universe." In order to win these large-scale battles, players must recruit new crew members.
Fans can pre-register on the game's website to earn a storm trooper helmet and other exclusive in-game items. Star Wars: Uprising is scheduled to come out on mobile devices this Fall.
