Warner Bros. Announces Batgirl DLC for Arkham Knight

Earlier this morning Warner Bros. announced the first add-on for Batman: Arkham Knight. Batgirl: A Matter of Family features the titular sidekick as she fights crime with a special friend.

A Matter of Family takes place before Batman: Arkham Asylum for reasons obvious to those familiar with the series. The upcoming DLC includes new story missions, side quests, locations, and a unique hacking mechanic. Also, Batgirl is joined by Robin for dual takedowns.

WB Games Montréal, the developer of Batman: Arkham Origins, worked on A Matter of Family using Rocksteady's Arkham Knight engine. All future Arkham Knight DLC will be developed exclusively by Rocksteady though.

Season Pass owners get the first chance to play A Matter of Family on July 14. The add-on will be available for everyone else on July 21 for $6.99 on PSN and Xbox LIVE.
