Fallout 4 players, beware.
Going through Monsignor Plaza in the game can lead to a crash that goes straight to the desktop without any error message. The original report on Bethesda's forums says that the crash occurs after taking a Settlement quest (Minutemen) to Monsignor Plaza, but it might occur simply due to going through the area as some have reported the crash during the main quest Hunter/Hunted.
The error happens for all versions of Fallout 4, and it may or may not occur in your particular playthrough. However, if the crash does happen, don't start a new game since the bug will likely return. People have tried upgrading their OS as well, but that doesn't work either.
The same goes for re-installing the game, sending the saves to other players, changing the area with console commands, and fiddling with graphical settings. In other words, there's no going back until a patch is created.
For now, just avoid Monsignor Plaza if you can. It's located east of the C.I.T. Ruins in case you're concerned. I wouldn't take my chances.
