Final Fantasy XV Can Now Be Played “In Its Entirety”

After an excruciating development cycle since being announced in 2006, Final Fantasy XV is well on its way to be released. Programmer Kitade has revealed through the official Final Fantasy XV forums (as translated by Gematsu) that the game is now playable from start to finish.

Not only that, but the first half of the game has been polished off to the point that its close to "a final product." Kitade continued:

From this, everyone on the development team can get an overall view on the game. The first half of the game is finished with the quality of a final product, and you get the sense you're playing it in its final form.

In this pre-beta form, the game only needs minor adjustments before it's ready. Final Fantasy XV should hit 2016 release date for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and a final release date should be announced later in March 2016.
