Xbox One Backward Compatibility Now Supports Braid, Deus Ex, Halo: Reach and More

As promised, Microsoft has been working on growing its backward compatibility support on Xbox One. While the free software launched with over 100 supported games, many fans have asked for more. Today marks the first time additional support has been added.

Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox One now supports backward compatibility for the following Xbox 360 titles:

  • Braid
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • Doritos Crash Course
  • Fable III
  • Halo: Reach
  • Hydro Thunder
  • Iron Brigade
  • Kane & Lynch 2
  • Motocross Madness
  • MS.PAC-MAN
  • Peggle
  • Portal: Still Alive
  • Spelunky
  • Splosion Man
  • Ticket to Ride™
  • Zuma's Revenge!

Support for Braid, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, and Halo: Reach has prompted a lot of praise among Xbox gamers. It is worth noting that Halo: Reach is currently the only major title in the franchise that isn't included in Halo: The Master Chief Collection following its addition of Halo 3: ODST.

Microsoft intends to add support for additional titles once per month heading into the future. It is listening to fan feedback to judge which games are the most sought after to support the most popular titles as soon as possible, so be sure to provide a request through the Xbox Feedback page if there's a certain title you want to see supported.
