Dark Souls 3 Launch Trailer Showcases Beautiful Environments and Refined Gameplay

Dark Souls 3 debuted in Japan today. For Western gamers that means only 19 days until the wait is finally over. For Bandai Namco that means that one of the biggest games of 2016 is ready for showtime.

With that, Bandai Namco has debuted the official launch trailer for Dark Souls 3. At more than two minutes long, it's heavy on story featuring CGI as well as gameplay. More than anything, it prepares players for the ominous vibe of the game, and shows how Dark Souls looks on next-generation consoles.

Dark Souls 3 will release in North America and Europe on April 12th.
