This Is What It’s Like To Play Dishonored 2 In Low Chaos, Non-Violent Fashion

For gamers who enjoy controlling their destiny, Dishonored 2 stands as one of the most attractive games of Fall 2016. In the follow up to one of 2012's most revered games, you will make many choices on how to handle situations, including whether or not you want to employ violent methods.

As demonstrated in yesterday's trailer, choosing a violent path will affect the world around you, eventually propelling Dunwall into chaos. This will put enemies on alert as they are weary of your lethal combat skills. You will even eventually be rewarded for your misdeeds with a "chaos ending".

But what about those who prefer to pacify and avoid enemies? Well, they can guide themselves toward a medium or low chaos experience, which affects both gameplay and storytelling.

A new gameplay video has emerged that shows what the low chaos experience is like when playing in Clockwork Mansion, one of the game's many levels. When compared to the high chaos video of yesterday, you can get a good idea of what you can expect from both, and plan your course of action accordingly.

It's worth noting that playing through the game as low chaos is more challenging. You will need to take advantage of the tools at your disposal, analyze your surroundings, and execute swiftly to avoid drawing unwanted attention and feel pressured to pursue messier methods. Due to this, many consider low chaos the more rewarding path, but ultimately the choice is yours. If nothing else, you have a reason to play through the game two or more times.

Dishonored 2 will release on November 11th on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
