Titanfall Online Free-To-Play Game Heads To South Korea

The Titanfall franchise is ready to spread its wings, this time to a new territory: South Korea. Home of many of the most hardcore gamers in the world, the country has tremendous sales potential, and Respawn Entertainment is looking to harvest it.

Interestingly enough, what's coming to South Korea is not Titanfall 2. Instead, it's the original Titanfall with some interesting tweaks to make it appealing to the distinct tastes of the gamers in the country. Due to the changes, it's being called Titanfall Online.

Some of the alterations include how leveling works, which will be more grind and unlock oriented. This is a theme seen in just about every game that makes the jump to South Korea, and for good reason.

No single-player will be included, and it appears that it'll be free-to-play with microtransactions.

You can see what the game looks like in action in the videos below:

A beta for Titanfall Online will become available on December 15th.
