Watch: Brainiac Takes Down Superman In New Injustice 2 Gameplay Footage

With just more than two weeks until release, Injustice 2 is finally giving us a complete look at its main antagonist. Netherrealm studios has made the rounds, giving extended gameplay trailers for many of their characters, and now it's Brainiac's turn.

The Terror of Kandor himself ca be seen sparring with Superman, Green Arrow and others, using a variety of projectiles, damaging blocks and other devastating attacks to take down his foes.

Brainiac will be the primary villain of Injustice 2, as he threatens to take over Earth and drain it of its resources only to move on.

Injustice 2 will release on May 16, 2017 for Xbox One and PS4, with no word on a PC version just yet. The PC version of the original Injustice: Gods Among Us released about five months after the platform release, so, if a PC version is planned, I wouldn't expect it any earlier than that.

More gameplay footage may be on the way in these two short weeks until release, but we've likely seen the last official character reveal until the release date.
