You Can Trade Club Nintendo Coins for Games Soon

One time I had a dream. Microsoft decided to allow gamers to exchange their achievement points for Microsoft points so they could buy games from Xbox Live Arcade. Then I woke up. I realized the truth. I got really sad for the world.

Nintendo doesn't have achievement points, but their rewards program, Club Nintendo, will soon allow the most dedicated gamers the opportunity to exchange points for virtual console titles and more. Games like Super Mario Kart, Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! and WiiWare Title Fluidity were briefly displayed with coin values reaching from 100 to 150.

Registering new hardware generally nets gamers 160 coins while games garner 40 coins apiece. It's not the dream I had, but it's a welcome addition to the selection of goodies currently available in Club Nintendo.
