Nintendo Network Does Mobile Phone Notifications, Video Chat

In today's Pre-E3 2012 Nintendo Direct video conference, Satoru Iwata revealed that players will interact in more places than at home in front of their TVs on the Nintendo Network.

A video demonstration showed how a player could send out a comment about a game he was playing and someone from that player's friends list could get a notification on their mobile phone in a supposed Nintendo Network app. The player could also video chat with another person via the Wii U controller.

We'll be bringing more as the Nintendo Direct conference continues. Be sure to check out our E3 coverage at our tag page.
