Total War: Warhammer 2 Debuts Dinosaur-Riding Lizardmen In New Trailer

Total War: Warhammer 2 is scheduled to release later this year. Among its line-up of new features and content offerings are four new races, one of which has seen a video debut today.

Say hello to the Lizardmen, a race of cold-blooded reptiles who harness strength and ancient technology to conquer their foes in violent fashion. They're notably merciless, and commonly referred to as the Children of the Gods, a name born from their reputation as being the oldest civilization in the Warhammer universe.

In an all-new cinematic trailer the Lizardmen are shown battling hordes of Elf enemies while riding giant pterodactyls and other Jurassic era dinosaurs.

In Warhammer 2 the Lizardmen are a civilization in ruin, with little hope of ever dominating the planet like they did millenia ago.

Total War: Warhammer 2 is scheduled for a release in late 2017 for PC.
