KFC’s Colonel Sanders is a Playable Character in WWE 2K18

KFC’s Colonel Sanders is set to be a playable character in WWE 2K18, with the fast food icon being added to the roster as a playable WWE Superstar.

Colonel Sanders was announced in a new trailer, which featured RAW General Manager Kurt Angle (who is also included in the game as a pre-order bonus) debuting the silver-haired fried chicken peddler. WWE video games have featured a variety of odd cameos in the past, including The Terminator in WWE 2K16, but Colonel Sanders undoubtedly tops the list. There’s no word yet on what his move set will be, though we can imagine someone, somewhere has already referred to it as “Finger Lickin’ Good.”

The announcement was made during last night’s Hell in a Cell PPV, which was co-presented by KFC. The event saw Kevin Owens facing Shane McMahon inside the steel structure, along with the Colonel facing off against his rival “Puppers Cluckers Chicken” (we don’t get it, either).

Additionally, Kurt Angle and Heath Slater will take the Colonel for a test run on WWE 2K18 in a video for WWE’s dedicated gaming YouTube channel, UpUpDownDown, on October 12th. So if you want to see an Olympic gold medallist (who won his medal with a broken freakin’ neck, lest we forget) beat up a chicken while playing as KFC’s infamous mascot, then you’ll get your chance to do so later this week.
