Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass to Address Player Concerns

The latest “State of Development” update post from Epic Games provides a preview of what’s to come in the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass. In addition to this, there are teases of possible upcoming skins,

Following complaints from players saying that the current Battle Pass relies too much on daily challenges, the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass will be tweaked. What is normally a second daily challenge, will be swapped out with a new weekly system. This should benefit those who can’t sit down and play every single day. If you’re busy with a job or social commitments, you’ll soon be able to take a break from Fortnite, without missing out on challenges.

We thank all of you for your support throughout Season 2. We’re excited and can’t wait to announce details on the Battle Pass for Season 3!

For example, we heard your concerns about the daily challenge system.

In Season 3 we’re adding flexibility by replacing the second daily challenge with a new weekly system. Battle Pass owners will unlock a new bundle of quests each week of the season which can be completed any time before the end of the season.

The Fortnite Battle Pass Season 3 will no doubt be used to earn some cool-looking cosmetic loot. Concept art of three potential loot drops were shared in the blog post. See them below:
