Kingdom Hearts 3 Features Drake Bell Because Why Not

It’s gonna take some time to realize, but if you look inside I’m sure you’ll find that Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature Drake Bell, because why not, right? Bell will be around to voice a young Master Eraqus, a Keyblade master who was featured in the games Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix. Old Master Eraqus was originally voiced by Star Wars superstar Mark Hamill, so it goes without saying that Bell has some pretty big shoes to fill in order to appease fans of Kingdom Hearts. Though considering Bell has had fans from Drake and Josh following him and his works since 2004, he certainly won’t be lacking in support.

Rumors of Bell’s involvement as young Master Eraqus have been circling around for years, but it is only now that this speculation seems to have become a reality. The confirmation came from a tweet that was retweeted by Drake Bell, indicating that the former Drake and Josh star was going to appear in the latest Kingdom Hearts game. You can read the tweet below, however, we must warn you that some of the replies are very NSFW. Be warned and tread carefully!

Of course, this isn’t the first time that Square has recruited celebrities in order to voice a character from Kingdom Hearts. As we mentioned previously, Mark Hamill has been involved in older Kingdom Hearts games, as well as Billy Zane. We can’t help but wonder if this recruitment of celebrities will be continued during the third game, and if that’s the case, will Josh Peck become involved for a Drake and Josh special?
