Update: It has been revealed that GameInformer’s Andrew Reiner will be hosting the Spider-Man E3 panel on Wednesday, not Tom Holland. Fool us once, shame on you, Insomniac…
Spider-Man is a huge franchise, and Sony’s Spider-Man game for PS4 is likely to be one of the highlights of E3. It’s evident with how much it has shown and talked about the game so far that it’s confident that the game will be one of the titles to talk about this year. We knew it would be one of the primary titles shown in detail during Sony’s E3 show, but they may be going all out by having Spider-Man on the screen, Tom Holland, there to talk about Spider-Man on console.
OG game journo Andrew Reiner has hinted that the E3 Spider-Man deep-dive with Insomniac and Marvel games may be even more significant than expected and that the host is “supposedly a big deal.”
Hearing some rumors about this, and the host is supposedly a huge deal. More if and when it becomes official. https://t.co/2USFYXfXnM

Insomniac Games community director chimed in saying that they had a huge budget to pay the host, but that he didn’t ask for anything. That lets us know that they must be a big name.
the craziest thing is we had a huge budget to pay the host but he didn’t ask for anything!!! Marketing was thrilled

The clincher, though, is the follow-up from Andrew Reiner replying to a user asking “can we have a hint.” Reiner states, “He probably shouldn’t have a Twitter account.” As Marvel Fans will recall, Tom Holland accidentally leaked the Infinity War poster just ahead of the official trailer in November on Instagram. He then accidentally dropped a spoiler at a screening of Infinity War before the audience even saw the movie.
He probably shouldn’t have a Twitter account.

Reiner’s tweet seems to point to someone who may have trouble keeping secrets, and between Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, I’m betting it’ll be Tom Holland that hosts the Spider-Man PS4 deep-dive.
Luckily, we won’t have long to wait. E3 starts this weekend, and we’ll see Sony’s conference on Monday, June 11 at 6 PM PT.
