Need For Speed: Most Wanted Added To Wii U’s Diverse Lineup

If there is one thing Nintendo has struggled with over the years it's third party support, and it's making every effort it can to break that trend with the Wii U.

Nintendo's Supplementary Information and Earnings Release report, which was released today, includes Need for Speed: Most Wanted on its third party software lineup table. Previously, the console had no racing games to offer in its infancy outside of Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, but that's no longer an issue.

With games such as TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 Wii U Edition, Darksiders II, Assassin's Creed III, Mass Effect 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines, and now Need for Speed: Most Wanted offered at or around launch, Nintendo has shown that it has no plans to alienate any kind of gamer by attracting as many third-party developers as possible.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is being developed by Criterion Games, the talented group that brought you the Burnout franchise. It's a blast to play according to our resident racing guru, Daniel_Bishoff, and it adds an important element of variety to the Wii U's game lineup.
