Rumor: Next Xbox To Arrive In Time For Thanksgiving 2013

Getting sick of all the next-gen rumors? Well you better get used to it, because it's only going to get worse as we enter 2013. The latest scuttlebutt on Microsoft's next-gen console is that the gaming box will be in stores by Thanksgiving next year.

“People familiar with the company’s plans” told Bloomberg that Microsoft plans to release the next iteration of the Xbox in time to catch the 2013 holiday rush. As for when the company plans to reveal the hardware, one individual told the outlet that the Big M hasn't decided whether to debut the machine at E3 or a separate event dedicated to the reveal.

Does a fall 2013 launch for the Xbox 720 sound like a reasonable timeframe to you? Do you think Sony will go head-to-head and launch the PlayStation 4 at the same time? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
