The Darkness II Gets A Release Date and Bloody Trailer

Back during March's press gauntlet of GDC and PAX, I got a chance to check out The Darkness II. The upcoming sequel to the original cult hit is looking good and is expanding upon the gameplay mechanics the first in exciting and ultimately gory new ways. You can dual-weild pistols while your demon tendrils tear people in half and eat their hearts. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Well, today we learn when Jackie Estacado will be returning to PS3, 360 and PC and that day is -insert drum roll here-



October 4th, 2011!!! Wooo!!!

Yup, it looks like it'll be arriving just in time for the Halloween season. How appropriate. You'd almost think it was deliberate. To go along with this exciting announcement 2K has hooked us up with this teaser trailer that gives a slight glimpse into the plot. Check it out and prepare to be swallowed by the Darkness.
