Nintendo Wii Price Drops To $150

I'll keep this short and sweet because… well, let's face it. If you didn't see this coming, you haven't been keeping up with Game Revolution. We told you it was coming and the retailers tried to capitalize on it too. I know we move fast but it's in your best interest to listen up when we warn you!

Nintendo officially announced that the Wii will hit $149.99 on May 15th. You won't be able to find the original Wii bundle with Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort though. Instead, Nintendo is bundling the Wii system with a copy of Mario Kart Wii and a Wii Wheel accessory. Don't worry, you'll still get your initial Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk controller.

If you ask me, I'd rather have Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort. It's funny that Nintendo also announced the initial batch of Nintendo Selects. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers, and Wii Sports will run $19.99 under the Nintendo Selects label.
