Sunset Overdrive PC Release Date Announced, Includes All DLC

After several months of speculation and rumor, there is an official Sunset Overdrive PC release date, at least, there is on Amazon. That’s right, we can now pre-order Sunset Overdrive on PC, just in time for its release date of November 16, 2018. Wait? That’s this Friday. What’s more, the PC release of Sunset Overdrive is set to contain all of the game’s DLC.

Confirmed by Wario64, there is now a pre-order page up on Amazon for Sunset Overdrive on PC. The game is a full-on PC port of Sunset Overdrive, the early Xbox One game from the folks behind Ratchet & Clank: Insomniac Games. Alongside the Sunset Overdrive PC release date, however, its Amazon listing has confirmed that PC players will receive every single piece of Sunset Overdrive DLC. This means that out of the box you’ll have access to the Mystery of Mooil Rig, Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines and the weapons pack at no extra cost.

Despite the release date being announced as soon as November 16, 2018, the most surprising aspect of the Sunset Overdrive PC port is its price. You’ll get the full game and all of its DLC for only $19.99 here in the US. Although it originally released on Xbox One back in October 2014, this is still a cheap price considering all of the DLC is part of the package.

Sunset Overdrive (as per the Amazon listing) is “an open world with no rules – leap Off buildings, run along walls, And grind power lines and rails to destroy your foes from every angle.” Along the way, you’ll fight with “over-the-top weapons,” which you can “collect and upgrade,” including the unconventional such as “Dynamite, fireworks, harpoons, and acid.”

The Xbox One original received positive reviews upon release. It sits on a “generally favorable” aggregate score of 81 on Metacritic. In our review, we rated Sunset Overdrive very highly, awarding it a score of 5/5. We praised its character and “vibrant color scheme.”
