Xbox One update rolling out

Xbox One November Update Rolling Out, Adds Keyboard and Mouse Support

Ready for a few extras for the Xbox One? This month’s Xbox One update is now out, with a number of quality of life additions, keyboard and mouse support, and more. It all amounts to an Xbox One November update that will make things a bit easier for those who want a more PC-like experience.

The biggest update this month features the inclusion of keyboard and mouse support. Fortnite will be one of the first titles to support them on the console. Warframe is another game that launches with this support today.

Bomber Crew, Deep Rock Galactic, Strange Brigade, Vermintide 2, War Thunder and X-Morph Defense will all have keyboard and mouse support by the end of November. Games that will also have the support in the future include Children of Morta, DayZ, Minion Master, Moonlighter, Vigor, Warface and Wargroove. Xbox is also partnering with Razer to develop a “Designed for Xbox” keyboard and mouse that will have a dedicated Xbox key and Xbox’s new Dynamic Lighting capabilities. More information on these devices will be revealed at the next CES event in January.

Xbox Skills also have some new additions. Launching last month, this feature adds services such as Alexa and Cortana. The latter now will be able to pair with the Xbox automatically if you already have it installed on another device. More commands have also been added for both, and an Alexa beta for the United Kingdom is now available.

The Amazon Music app is also out today in the United States today, with other countries coming soon. Prime members will be able to stream more than two million songs using the app. It also expands the search system within the console. It will now include results from Xbox Assist, as well as games that are “Ready to Install”.

Today’s update is rolling out now, so check your consoles. What other games would you like to see have keyboard and mouse support? Let us know below!
