PS Vita 3G Model Slashed To $199 In Select Sony Stores

If you're in the market for a Vita, but can't justifying spending over $200 for a handheld, I've got good news for you, as the 3G model has been discounted in Sony stores all across the United States.

Instead of paying the $299, you'll be able to pick up one of these bad boys for just $199. When Joystiq discovered the deal, they proceeded to call every Sony store location to confirm the price slash. The responses varied by store, though, a number of stores suggested that the price drop is permanent, as Sony likely plans to discontinue this model.
