Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Gameplay Trailer Sets Sail For Your Eyeballs

Assassin's Creed aims once again for an October release, and the gameplay reveal trailer from Ubisoft shows the kind of work done to perfect the formula that's about to enter the 7th mainline game. ACIV Black Flag obviously expands on the naval mechanics and missions from Assassin's Creed III, but it certainly looks spectacular in the upcoming pirate-themed adventure.

With up to six pistols, Edward Kenway will have plenty of new animations and firepower for dispatching fiends of the Carribean. Check out the whale jumping next to Kenway's ship, as well as the jungle, water, and port-town environments. I'm still wondering what the Templars and Assassin's could be after in the new game, but it certainly looks like Ubisoft Montreal is squeezing every last ounce out of the current generation consoles.

What could the PS4 and next-generation Xbox offer to expand the experience and entice people onto the new hardware?
