The new Fiverr gaming store is now live, introducing a number of different categories tailored around video games. Fiverr has been around since 2010, making a name for itself as a marketplace for freelance services. Now the company has finally acknowledged that video games are a pretty big deal, and have expanded to accommodate the talented developers and creators out there.
Freelancers with a talent for game development, writing, editing trailers, producing graphics for livestreams, and more, are all able to offer their services as part of the new gaming store. And, if you’re building a game or looking to spruce up your stream, it’s those freelancers who you’ll be able to hire.
At launch, the store has 30 categories relating to the video games industry. These include:
- Game Development
- Character Modeling
- Game Design
- Character Animation
- Game Writing
- Game Trailers
- Producers and Composers
- Graphics for Streamers
- Animation for Streamers
- Video Editing
Fiverr can be used to secure talent quickly, with filters that allow services to be sorted by best selling, ratings, and new arrivals. Delivery times as low as 24 hours can be selected.
For game developers looking for additional help, the “Game Creation” section currently advertises freelancers who can help design levels for a game, create characters with animation, write a story or script, arrange music and/or sound effects, and more.
For those into livestreaming, Fiverr’s “Gamers and Streamers” section showcases overlay animations, animated alerts, emotes, Discord bots, and more. Those looking to make it big on YouTube, without the need to spend time editing videos themselves, may find the “Gameplay Editing” category of interest.
With so many categories available at launch, it looks like Fiverr is really pushing to make its gaming store successful. You can check it out for yourself here.
