Check Out The Battle Of The Nile In Sega’s Upcoming Total War: Rome II

My experience with Sega's Total War series is completely limited to Shogun II, but Rome II is shaping up to bring the armchair generals among us back into the fold. This Battle of the Nile gameplay video walks you through the mechanics and objectives and how Rome II can kick your ass in seconds flat.

Developer Al Bickham fights the Egyptians and gets trampled by surprise attack elephants. You can see the Total War engine going to work on huge landscapes and individual soldiers as well.  Seeing enemy units washing up against Bickham's neatly organized columns never gets old.

Have you conquered Japan? Have you lived Napoleon's life? You can head back to Rome when Total War: Rome II is released on September 3rd.
