Namco Bandai Announces Soul Calibur II HD Online

During the Namco Bandai panel at Comic-Con, the publisher announced that it will be re-releasing Soul Calibur II, but this time in HD and with online multiplayer.

But before all you Nintendo fans start freaking out over a high-def version of Link, just know that Namco has yet to confirm whether the sword-wielding hero of Hyrule or Spawn will even be in the game. Considering licensing hoopla and all that, I wouldn't get my hopes up, not to mention the fact that Soul Calibur II HD Online was announced for just Xbox 360 and PS3, as we have yet to hear about a Wii U version.

The fighter is set to release this fall.
