Kinect Sports Rivals Delayed Beyond Xbox One Launch

Kinect Sports Rivals, the next entry in Rare's motion-based sports franchise, has been delayed outside of the Xbox One's launch.

The game was originally supposed to release this holiday season but Microsoft has issued an update which states that the title will now be out sometime during the spring of 2014. An MS rep confirmed this news to Polygon, explaining that the game has been delayed to allow Rare more time to polish the overall experience.

While something tells me that a lot of you GR community folks aren't particularly fond of the Kinect Sports series, this is still a significant blow to the Xbox One's launch lineup, as one of the major showpiece titles for the console's new motion camera will be MIA on day one.
