Dr. Disrespect TV show potentially in the works at Skybound Entertainment

Guy Beahm’s Dr. Disrespect is one of the biggest personas in gaming, and now we may see him come to life on TV. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Beahm is in talks with Skybound Entertainment to create a television show based on Dr. Disrespect.

While no concrete plans exist for the show yet, Beahm stated that the series would focus on Dr. Disrespect’s origin story. Even the format is still up in the air, as Beahm mentions there have been “some early discussions around animation.”

Dr. Disrespect’s infamy has only grown with time, and his channel is currently the second most-subscribed streamer on Twitch. Streamers moving beyond their platforms is becoming more common, with action figures, comics, clothing, and more bearing their brands. It seems like it’s the natural next step to have them star in their own TV shows.

There’s no word on when the Dr. Disrespect show will debut, but it seems like a solid thing according to Beahm’s comments. We’ll share more news about the project when it becomes available.
