Employee-Exclusive White Xbox One May Eventually Be Available To Consumers

In case you didn't already know, Microsoft employees are getting a very special version of the Xbox One. A spiffy all-white version is exclusive to those who work at the Big M for the time being, but that doesn't mean it won't be made available to the general public sometime in the future.

Over on Reddit, Xbox spokesman Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb posted a glimmer of hope in the comments, saying that consumers might see it "[M]aybe waaaay in the future."

Isn't it funny how whatever color isn't available at launch becomes the most desired one? Back when the Xbox 360 first launched as white only everyone wanted a black one. That said, the white Xbox One controller looks awfully sleek. I hope those are made available for purchase at the very least.
