If you haven’t been keeping up with Platinum Games’ latest projects, the company has been running a Kickstarter for The Wonderful 101: Remastered. The Kickstarter campaign has nine days to go at the time of writing and has raised $1.74 million — much more money than the $49,102 they initially requested.

A trailer has come out which reveals the release date for this upcoming game on PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, it will not be a simultaneous worldwide release.

When is The Wonderful 101: Remastered release date?

  • North America – May 19, 2020
  • Europe – May 22, 2020
  • Japan – June 11, 2020

You’ll be able to pick up either a physical or digital copy of the game. Pre-orders should be opening up sometime later today. It should also be noted that Nintendo isn’t listed in the copyright at the trailer’s end, so Platinum Games may have negotiated full ownership of the IP.

Check out The Wonderful 101 release date trailer below to get a quick peek at how this remastered version of the game is shaping up. You’ll be able to buy The Wonderful 101: Remastered for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on May 19, 2020, in North America, May 22, 2020, in Europe, and June 11, 2020, in Japan.
