Cyberpunk 2077 dodge glitch is letting players speedrun the game, hurtling their way through Night City by making use of the Maneuvering System cyberware enhancement. The glitch, known as speed dodge or BHOP (short for bunny hop), lets players use the mod in order to propel themselves forwards, with V  traveling much faster than they would in most vehicles.

The speed glitch requires players to make use of the Maneuvering System cyberware enhancement, which can be picked up at the Octavio’s Clinic ripperdoc in Santo Domingo. This mod allows you to double-dash in mid-air, transforming V’s dodge into a high-speed leap. Reinforced Tendons can also be purchased from a ripperdoc in order to allow the player to perform double jumps, which can elevate V’s height on the jumps.

How to do the Cyberpunk 2077 speed glitch

In order to perform the Cyberpunk 2077 speed dodge glitch, players must do the following:

  1. Get a running start
    • Hold L3/Shift key in order to run forwards
  2. Jump with X/A/space bar
  3. Before landing, double-tap the dodge button
  4. Jump again when you land after dodging

The timing of the speed dodge takes some getting used to, though after getting into the rhythm V will be able to traverse Night City faster than most cars and bikes in the game.

This new speed glitch overtakes a previous exploit found by players, which allowed them to make use of the Kerenzikov cyberware (via YouTube) in order to enter slow-motion mode before speed dodging. While this method was effective, slowing down time would make it ineffective for speedrunners looking to progress through the game as swiftly as possible. This new glitch significantly reduces the amount of time it takes to speed dodge through Night City, provided that CD Projekt Red doesn’t patch it out in the near-future.

The Cyberpunk 2077 speed dodge isn’t the only favorable glitch players have discovered recently. A new athletics XP exploit has allowed players to level up quickly even while not playing the game, while cheats for the game allow players to gain infinite money and more.
