Gamers are wondering “when does the PS5 restock today?” with news that a PlayStation 5 restock could take place soon. So what date and time will the console be back in stock? Here’s what the various PS5 tracker accounts have to say.
When is the next PS5 restock?
PS5 restocks have dried up considerably, with the console only having incredibly limited resupplies across retailers. As such, a PS5 restock is not expected today and it’s also not predicted that the console will be back in stock this week.
YouTuber Jake Randall — known for tracking stock updates across the consoles — has said that he hasn’t heard much of anything in terms of when the PS5 will be back in stock. Additionally, he noted that the lack of PS Direct stock potentially spells bad news for the rest of April.

Target launched sales of the PS5 in March, with the console going back in stock in the early hours. However, the retailer swiftly sold out of the system after it went online. Other retailers may followed suit shortly afterwards.
Costco released both a PS5 and Xbox Series X restock this week, while it also went back on sale with Best Buy. Antonline has been an unsurprising destination for restocks, too.
In order to buy a PS5, you will need to navigate to the storefront of one of the retailers that will be selling it. You will likely be placed in a queue in order to secure your purchase, given the huge amount of demand for the system.
Given the immense stock shortages for the PS5 due to the delayed production of crucial computer chips, the console is being snapped up almost as soon as it goes live with each fresh restock. Unfortunately, scalpers are capitalizing on this, securing their purchases as soon as the PS5 is back in stock and then selling it on for massive profits.
As a result, if you wish to get your hands on a PlayStation 5, you’ll need to move quickly and ensure that you’re waiting in-line (virtually) when the console’s restock goes live.
