YouTube App Coming To 3DS, Update Confirmed For Wii U

YouTube will be coming to 3DS very soon, Nintendo confirmed during today's Direct presentation.

The application will bring the popular video service to the Big N's handheld, and takes advantage of the device's dual-screen setup. On the top screen users will be able to watch a video while at the same time searching for another video on the lower display. Yay for multitasking!

In addition, Nintendo announced that an update to the YouTube app on Wii U is on the way, and as you may have expected, it will bring similar dual-screen support, allowing users to have a video playing on the television while they fiddle around on the GamePad.

All of this YouTube goodness is expected to make its way to Nintendo hardware in December.
