Yoshida: Mixed PS4 Reviews “Disappointing” But Not “Worrisome”

The reviews for PlayStation 4's launch games have been flooding in over the past 24 hours, and they've been quite mixed.

Speaking to the wide spread of scores, Sony exec Shuhei Yoshida explained why he isn't to worried about this affecting the launch of the console. "I haven't spent enough time reading reviews, but I would characterize them as mixed. It's disappointing but I don't think it's worrisome for the launch of the system," he told Games Industry.

"I've played through all of our games, KillzoneKnack and Resogun, and I totally enjoyed playing through these games," Shu went on to add. "I'm now on my second run of Knack and Resogun at a higher difficulty – these games really grow on you when you play more. I'm very confident that once you purchase these games and play, you'll be happy that you've done so."

The staff here at GameRevolution is powering its way through all of the PlayStation 4 launch games and will have reviews for you very soon. Stay tuned.
