A Pokemon Unite datamine has revealed new Holowear for various Pokemon along with potential new characters to added to the game. The new skins are likelyset to be introduced to the game in the near future, with them being available for a wide range of the game’s Pokemon, including Pikachu, Charizard, and the upcoming Blastoise. A further datamine suggests that Blissey and Sylveon may become playable characters, while the likes of Nidoking and Articuno also have unidentified roles.
What new skins and Holowear are in the Pokemon Unite datamine?
The datamine has revealed assets in the game that have yet to be pushed live. This includes new Holowear, the purchasable skins for each Pokemon. Charizard is depicted wearing a hat and scarf combo, Pikachu a floral summer hat, and Blastoise a waistcoat and shirt. Perhaps the most notable is Snorlax, who is wearing a full Sitrus Berry onesie.
Currently, the vast majority of Holowear in the game is summer-themed, whereas many of these new skins seem to be based around fall. This suggests that they’ll be added towards the end of August, which is when summer ends in the U.S.

According to Pokemon leaker Eclipse, there are also new Pokemon found in a datamine from the Unite beta released before the game’s official launch. Though this should be taken with a pinch of salt given the lack of hard evidence, Eclipse claims that Blissey and Sylveon were both shown as playable in this datamine, while unidentified roles were also found for the liks of Nidoking, Venonat, Articuno, and more. This could potentially mean they will introduced as NPC Pokemon that players need to take down.
