Steam Machine Roundup: Check Out All Of Valve’s Partners

During this year's CES, Valve finally blew the doors off its plans for Steam Machines, revealing a total of thirteen different companies its partnering with to bring the Steam experience to your living room.

Alienware:

Price: TBA

Release: Q3/4 2014 

The folks over at Alienware know how to make appealing hardware, and its Steam Machine is no exception. At just three inches high and eight inches deep and wide, this sleek black box won't hog too much real estate in your entertainment center. Aside from the fact that it will boast an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU, no specs were revealed.

Price: $1,339

Release: 2014

Alternate's Steam Machine may not be the most attractive box on the market, but it offers plenty of bang for your buck. It includes a 1TB SSHD, 16GB of RAM, an Intel Core i5 4570 CPU, and a Gigabyte GTX 760 GPU.

 

CyberPowerPC:

Price: $499/$699

Release: Q3/4 2014

CyberPowerPC is bringing to market two Steam Machines, both of which come packed with a 500GB hard drive and 8GB of DDR3 RAM. The difference comes with the GPU and CPU. The cheaper "A model" has a 3.9 GHz AMD A6-6400K and 2GB AMD Radeon R9 270. Those who would prefer the pricier route can pick up the "I model," which has a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3-4330 and 2GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760.

 

Digital Storm Bolt II:

Price: $1899+

Release: January 2014

The Digital Storm Bolt II is basically just a super-powered gaming PC that offers dual booting into Windows and SteamOS. It'll also cost you a pretty penny.

 

Falcon Northwest Tiki:

Price: $1799-$6000

Release: 2014

Those with deep pockets may take an interest in the Tiki from Falcon Northwest. This super-powered PC features a flashy SteamOS-inspired design and comes in a wide array of customization options.

 

Gigabyte Brix Pro:

Price: TBA

Release: 2014

This small, space-saving Steam Machine comes packed with plenty of power. It's got an Intel Core i7-4770R CPU as well as an Intel Iris Pro 5200. The hard drive is 1TB in size and has 8GB of RAM.

 

iBuyPower SBX:

Price: $499+

Release: 2014

iBuyPower's SBX will offer a few options to the consumer, allowing the choice of either an Intel or AMD CPU. As far as the GPU goes, the SBX will allegedly come packed with a 2GB AMD R9 270. 

 

Materiel.net:

Price: $1,098

Release: 2014

The super-sleek design of Materiel.net's Steam Machine is easily one of its most attractive features. As far as specs go, it has an Intel Core i5 4440 CPU and an MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC. It's also go a 1TB SSHD and 8GB of RAM.

 

Next Spa:

Price: TBA

Release: 2014

The Next Spa comes equipped with 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, the Nvidia GTX 760 GPU, and an Intel Core i5 CPU.

 

Origin Chronos:

Price: TBA

Release: 2014

The Chronos from Origin is all about providing power to the gamer. The device will be compatible with dual Nvidia GeForce Titan GPUs. In addition, there's a storage option of 14TB for those with a whole lot of games.

 

Scan NC10:

Price: $1,090

Release: 2014

Inside its gorgeous aluminum case, the Scan NC10 packs a 2.4GHz Intel Core i3 4000M, the GeForce GTX 765M from Nvidia, and 8GB of RAM.

 

Webhallen

Price: $1,499+

Release: 2014

You'll be able to customize Webhallen's Steam Machine to your liking, but the base model comes packed with an Intel Core i7 CPU, the Nvidia GTX 780, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSHD.

 

Zotac:

Price: $599

Release: 2014

Aside from the fact that Zotac's Steam Machine features a rather odd design, we know very little about what is in the box. The company has confirmed, however, that it will boast a GeForce GTX GPU.
