Halo Art Director Stepping Down From Role At 343 Industries

Kenneth Scott, the senior art director behind 343 Industries' Halo 4, is stepping down from his position to instead serve as visual design consultant.

"In order to be with his family, Kenneth Scott and 343 Industries have agreed to transition his current role," a Microsoft rep confirmed to IGN. You may recall that his wife, Corrinne Yu, parted ways with the Halo developer to join forces with Naughty Dog late last year.

Nicolas Bouvier will be filling Scott's role as art director. "We’re thrilled to announce that Kenneth’s long-time colleague and collaborator, Nicolas "Sparth" Bouvier will step into the position of Art Director," Microsoft said. "Kenneth will continue to work with 343 Industries remotely and partner with Nicolas in a newly created role as a Visual Design Consultant. We can’t wait to share more details regarding the future of ‘Halo’ very soon."

As a huge fan of the Halo franchise, I really hope this doesn't end up compromising the quality of Halo for Xbox One. Should I be worried? Let me know in the comments below.
