[Update: Trailer] Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare Gets Free DLC

The development team at EA Canada delivers on their promises by unleashing the first new game mode and map for Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare tomorrow, completely free.

Before release there was some reluctance to lay out all the plans in place, but Electronic Arts confirmed that PvZ: Garden Warfare would get free DLC for players via Xbox Live. This is actually a really extensive update considering the low, low price of $0. Here are the details:

Three new abilities for every character in the game
One new game mode titled Gnome Bomb. Each team must escort a gnome to the other team's base to win the war.
One new map dubbed Sharkbite Shores and Port Scallywag. This map is available in multiplayer and Garden Ops where it'll feature new pirate zombies.
