[Update: Trailer and Screen Gallery] Sonic: Lost World Gets Free Zelda DLC on Wii U

[Update]: Sega sent us the trailer today. Check it out below in addition to a gallery with screenshots and a few pieces of concept art:

[Original]: Sega has announced that Sonic: Lost World will get free Legend of Zelda-themed DLC via Nintendo's eShop service.

The news comes via an exclusive announcement at IGN because apparently only IGN readers like Sonic anymore. Wait… that can't be right. I think all Nintendo gamers would like to know about a unique crossover like this, no matter how mixed the reaction was to Sonic: Lost World.

The video shows Sonic running around a Hyrule overworld, Link flying overhead, Sonic's green tunic above. There are deku-nut busting challenges, ruppee-collecting Goron-escaping races, and plenty of Cuccos too.
