Leaked Image Shows Resident Evil 6 Logo

Although ComicCon is now over, the nerd-laced dust isn't yet settled. A leaked image that is said to be from a closed-door Comic-Con panel with Capcom shows a picture of a slideshow panel showing a logo for Resident Evil 6.

The leaked image also shows a date, September 15, 2011. That date just so happens to be the first day of Tokyo Game Show, which would be a very likely venue for such a reveal.

There's been a lot of outrage over Capcom's actions as of late. But if a proper Resident Evil 6 is released that redefines the series, could all be forgiven? Probably not. But I'd love to get my hands on a real Resident Evil 6 (not this Operation: Raccoon City spin-off).
