Original Resident Evil Getting Remastered for Next and Current-Gen Hardware

Capcom's iconic horror game is getting an extra coat of polish and a digital release on modern platforms next year. That's right, folks! The original Resident Evil is getting remastered for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PS3, and PC.

The game will be available digitally during the early part of 2015, and will feature 1080p graphics on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox One.

Gamers looking to kick it old school will be able to opt for the original control scheme, but there's also going to be a modern control option for those that want a more fluid experience.

Are you looking forward to replaying the amazing horror title that first appeared on the original PlayStation and was later remade for GameCube? I know I am!
