Games of Glory Gets Funded, Cancels Kickstarter

Lightbulb Crew has been working on Games of Glory, a new crossover action multiplayer online battle arena that gives the genre some new ideas to contend with, and now the team has secured funding and canceled their Kickstarter campaign.

Anders Larsson, founder of Lightbulb Crew, offered the following in a press release announcing the news:

I am excited about the support from new and existing fans, which has been the key to securing the financing to make Games of Glory a great game. We are continuing to develop the game together with our community and would like to thank everyone who has made this possible by supporting us. We look forward to releasing Games of Glory with many advanced features.

Kickstarter backers will still get a "backer kit" which provides early access to Games of Glory, but anyone interested in the title still needs to vote for it on Steam Greenlight.

We'll have more on Games of Glory in the coming weeks. Look for a hands-on preview soon.
