Mario Kart 8 US Sales Surpass One Million

Mario Kart 8 has surpassed the one million sales mark in the United States, Nintendo has announced. 

The popular kart racer now joins New Super Mario Bros. U as the second Wii U game to reach the one million milestone in the States. Considering the rather lackluster Wii U install base, that figure, just a few months after the game's release, isn't too shabby.

It looks like the Big N's little Italian plumber still has some serious selling power.
