Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Season Pass Detailed

Warner Bros. has revealed details on the Season Pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, with four pieces of content that extend both the story and the challenges of the game.

The Season Pass begins with an exclusive "Guardians of the Flaming Eye" Orc Warband mission, where you can obtain the Rising Flame rune after defeating Sauron's elite defenders near the Black Gate. Then comes early access to the "Trials of War" challenge series where you'll be ranked on a leaderboard on how quickly you can dispatch a series of enemies.

After that are several story missions such as Lord of the Hunt, where you'll take down wild beasts, and The Bright Lord, where you can play as the legendary Elven smith Celebrimbor. Beyond that, there will be even more content where you can collect more runes and skins.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor will release on September 30, 2014 for PS4, XOne, PS3, and X360 and October 2, 2014 for PC.
