Persona 5 Isn’t Just Coming to PlayStation 3…

During today's pre-Tokyo Game Show event in Japan, Atlus announced that Persona 5 will be releasing on both PlayStation 3 and PS4.

Previously the game was only confirmed for launch on PS3, but considering how slowing Sony's next-gen console is selling in Japan right now, it makes total sense for Atlus to bring the super popular series to PS4 as soon as possible.

The studio also released some new footage of the game, which provides a much better idea of what's to come than that cryptic teaser we got late last year. Give it a look below.

Persona 5 still doesn't have a firm release date, though we can expect it to hit store shelves sometime next year. Is it time to finally retire that PlayStation 3? I think so!
