Super Smash Bros. for 3DS Won’t Support Circle Pad Pro

Nintendo has confirmed that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will not support the Circle Pad Pro attachment but will however take advantage of the C-Stick included on the "New" Nintendo 3DS, which will be launching in Japan later this year.

It appears the handheld's new analog nub will allow you to perform Smash Attacks with ease, just like the C-Stick on the GameCube controller has worked in prior console iterations.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS launches later this week in Japan and on October 3rd in North America. Will you be picking it up at launch or are you waiting patiently for the Wii U version?
