Wait to Buy Xbox One Because “Exciting” Holiday Promotion Is Coming, Says Pachter

Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter apparently has some inside information on Microsoft's plans to get a leg up on the competition this holiday season.

In a couple of posts on Twitter, GamesBeat's Dan "Shoe" Hsu relayed the information provided by the analyst, in which Pachter suggests gamers wait to purchase an Xbox One because the Big M has an "exciting" offer coming later this year.

As someone who really wants to play Halo: The Master Chief Collection this November, I've been flirting with the idea of purchasing Microsoft's new-gen console now, but at this point I think I'll hold out just a bit longer.

Do you find yourself in the same position? What sort of promotion would Microsoft have to offer to get you on board the Xbox One train?
