Nintendo Teases Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED

While the recent Nintendo Direct showed off a brand new trailer for The Legend Of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, fans have been speculating as to the existence of a Tears of the Kingdom Switch OLED and it seems that Nintendo might be teasing an upcoming announcement of a special edition OLED in a new tweet.

New limited-edition Zelda Switch OLED potentially teased

Nintendo has tweeted out an image of Zelda walking around holding what appears to be a Switch and could be hinting at an upcoming announcement for a Nintendo Switch OLED special edition.

Recent leaks have shown a Nintendo Switch OLED that has gold, green, and white Joycons, with a docking station that features runes from the game itself. People were expecting the OLED Switch model to be announced at the recent Nintendo Direct, but all we saw from the game was a brief gameplay trailer along with the official announcement of a collectors edition.

It’s possible that Nintendo tweeting this image hints at an upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-centric Nintendo Direct that also officially announces the Switch OLED model and dives much deeper into the game itself prior to release. Time will tell!
